England vs Holland Wednesday, 29/02/2012 Kick off 20:00 GMT at Wembley Stadium International Match England – Cahill 85′ Young 90′ Holland – Robben 57′,90′ Huntelaar 59′ An absorbing second-half of football at Wembley produced five goals, three of them for Holland, as Stuart Pearce’s big night as England Caretaker Manager ended in a cruel, cruel defeat. A 90th-minute chip from Ashley Young appeared to have handed England a 2-2 draw, but former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben popped up just moments later to curl home his second goal of the night and give the 2010 World Cup runners-up a late victory. Robben fired Holland ahead in the 57th-minute, finishing of a clinical counter-attacking move, and substitute Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, on for Robin van Persie at half-time, thundered home a header just moments later to make it 2-0, but clashed heads with Chris Smalling in the process. Gary Cahill pulled a goal back for an improving England in the 85th minute when he calmly finished from inside the box and Young clipped the ball over Maarten Stekelenburg in the last minute to seemingly earn England a draw. But there was still enough time for Robben to inflict defeat on England with one final swing of his left foot, though the ball did appear to take a deflection on the way in. @salehrabbaniy No it is the youth system. The players we produce are just not good enough and often the bigger players get picked over the players with more technical ability. From first hand experience, my mate who was a brilliant player got try outs for a team and got rejected because he was too short. The team told him to com back when he was taller. I mean does that make sense? Imagine if somehthing likethat happened to Xavi.
You cant allow Robben to get onto his left foot FACT!
Agree.Robben is one of the best player’s of the world.
holland scored two and then they forgot they were playing football and they woke up again at the end 😉
And this year they dind’t…
Lol, and England WON IT the year before that.
Robben is Underrated…
i was at this game. left 5 mins early to avoid the delay on the tube. missed two goals. 🙁
It’s not even Holland. From the looks of this video, it looks as if both teams both had horrendous defense; so horrendous that at times it was even comedic to watch.
England will win the Euros because there is no expectation this tournament
very true.. England are so overrated
hahaha that’s a pretty funny comment :D
England won’t win shit so get that out of your mind, the only cup england will win is a cup of tea
Robben : 10x C.Ronaldo, 10x Rooney, 2x Messi
England won’t win shit so get that out of your mind
how is micah richards not in the team? Hodgson you schlampe
1:20 – 1:50 wowwwww that goal!!!
ROBBEN!!!
HOLLAND!
WE WINNEN HET EK!
its because the league is basically full of world class players who are from outside of england. players make their names in competitions like eredivisie and big money clubs spend a lot to get those players to england
How many players come from England? almost every PL team has got lots of foreign players…and so the youth of England is not getting the chance. And there is the problem.
